Montreal, February 28, 2022<\/strong> \u2013 The Quebec CPA Order released the names of the 14 chartered professional accountants (CPAs) who received the prestigious title of Fellow (FCPA) this year. These women and men are inspiring ambassadors who exemplify the reputation and prestige of the profession. They will be honoured during the upcoming Soir\u00e9e des Fellows in fall 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The title of Fellow is presented annually to a small number of CPAs among the Order\u2019s 41,000 members. These new FCPAs are joining a select group that now includes 661 people who have rendered outstanding services to the profession, or whose achievements in their careers or in the community have earned them distinction and brought honour to the profession.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lifetime Achievement Award<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

\nThe Order also announced the name of the recipient of the 2022 Lifetime Achievement Award, Raymond Royer<\/strong>, O.C. O.Q., FCPA, FCA. The scope and significance of his achievements within internationally active Quebec companies, not to mention his outstanding financial management expertise and exemplary leadership, make this recipient of the distinction, the most prestigious in the Quebec profession, an extraordinary FCPA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
